[This detailed Tamil article is based on the unfinished historical book 'History of Sri Lanka' by my late friend, Mr. Kandiah Easwaran, a civil engineer. The English summary below is his own version.

[Panduvasa and his son Abhaya.]

[Abhaya, Tissa, and Utti, Tissa, and Asela the fifth, Vibhāta, Rāma, and Siva, Matta together with Mattakala.]

10 - 6: There were seven Sākiya princes, the grand-children of Amitodana, born in the family of the Lord of the world: Rāma, Tissa, and Anurādha, Mahāli, Dīghāvu, Rohana, Gāmanī the seventh of them.

திகவுவின் [Dīghāvu] மகன் காமனி [தீககாமினி,  Dighagamini ,son of Prince Digayu and Princess Disala] ஆவான். [In the Dipavansa, Pandukabhaya is mentioned as Pakundaka] பெற்றெடுத்தார்.

Part: 47 / Appendix – Dipavamsa / 'Is Sri Lanka biologically related to the Sakya clan of Buddha?'

North East Monsoonal wind sets in appreciable strength during October to February, which might have aided the drifting of the ship. However, Vijaya and his companions landed in May. They first drifted to Suppara and then to Bharukaccha. Drifting with North-East Monsoon would not have enabled them to turn northwards after passing Lanka to reach Suppara and Bharukaccha. There is no way that they could have landed on the coast of Lanka more than about three thousand miles of sea journey simply drifting and going with the wind. They would have perished very early on their drift of thirst and hunger. The alleged arrival of Vijaya and his companions is an invented fiction to misappropriate land for a particular group.

The Chapter 10 speaks reigns of two kings of Ceylon only Panduvasa and his son Abhaya. It is not clarified in the Dipavamsa that where Panduvasa came from, and how he is related to Vijaya. How he arrived in Lanka is also not given in the Dipavamsa. He was, however, crowned the king on the same year he arrived in Lanka. Panduvasa married the princess Kaccana, the daughter of Sakka prince Pandu, who also came from India. Sakka epithet indicates that Pandu is connected to Gautama Buddha. It is not clarified in the Dipavamsa how he is connected to Gautama Buddha. How Kaccana came here is also not elaborated in the Dipavamsa. Panduvasa reigned for 30 years. The Mahavamsa took advantage of this to spin another canard around it. Eleven children were born to Panduvasa and Kaccana; ten sons and one daughter. Abhaya, Tissa, Utti, Tissa, Asela, Vibhata, Rama, Siva, Matta, and Mattakala are the sons, and Cita is the daughter who is as very fascinating in appearance. Abhaya ruled after his father, Panduvasa, for twenty years.

Suddhodana was the father of Siddhattha (Buddha after enlightenment), and Suddhodana had four brothers. Amitodana was the youngest. Amitodana had seven grandsons; Rama, Tissa, Anurdha, Mahali, Dighavu, Rohana, and Gamani, and one granddaughter; Kaccana. How and why Amitodana’s grandchildren ended up in Lanka is not given in the Dipavamsa. Amitodana’s nephew was Buddha and the monks who wrote the chronicles wanted Lanka to have biological connection with the Buddha’s Sakya clan, and must have invented the presence of Amitodana’s grandchildren in Lanka. The detail given above about Amitodana is not given in the Dipavamsa, but added as an aid to understand, and it is from the Mahavamsa.

Dighavu’s son was also Gamani, and he was attending to Panduvasa. He, Gamani, while attending Panduvasa cohabitted with Cita and gave birth to Panduka. Panduka, Pakunda and Pakundaka all refer to the same person. Panduka was born when Panduvasa died, and prince Abhaya was crowned. Pakunda’s maternal uncles were trying to kill him and he resided at Dovarikamandala, hiding from his uncles.
